The Baolingo platform and, with the exception of user-submitted material and third-party content, all material published on the platform — including learning content, illustrations, icons, the user interface, source code, and the "Baolingo" brand name, logo, slogans and other identifying marks — is owned by Baolingo or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademarks and other proprietary rights. Baolingo additionally holds a copyright in the selection, coordination, arrangement and enhancement of all content presented on the platform.

  • These materials are protected by copyright law, industrial property law and all applicable laws governing intellectual property
  • All rights not expressly granted to the user are fully reserved by Baolingo
  • Your access to or use of the platform does not grant you any ownership rights to the learning materials
  • You may use the platform's content for personal learning only and may not copy, redistribute, publish or otherwise exploit it on any other site or service without Baolingo's prior written consent

Third-Party Content

Certain content on the platform may belong to third parties and is used by Baolingo under valid license, including:

  • Embedded media from third-party streaming platforms such as YouTube
  • Fonts, icons and images licensed from third-party providers
  • Language reference materials, dictionaries or pronunciation data supplied by partners

Enforcement and Sanctions

Any violation of the intellectual property provisions of these Terms will be strictly enforced by Baolingo through the following measures:

  • Immediate suspension or permanent termination of the infringing user's account, with no refund of any fees paid
  • Requiring the infringing user to remove immediately any infringing material from all distribution platforms
  • Cooperating with law enforcement authorities to pursue administrative or criminal liability where provided for by law

User Conduct

Users must:

  • Use the platform respectfully
  • Not disrupt other users' learning
  • Not attempt to access restricted areas
  • Not use automated systems or bots

User-Generated Content and Disclaimer

Regarding any content you upload, share, or create on our platform:

  • You retain ownership of your content but grant us license to use it for platform improvement
  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content
  • We do not review, verify, or endorse user-generated content
  • We disclaim all liability for any damages arising from user-generated content
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates our terms or policies
  • You agree not to upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates third-party rights

By using our platform, you acknowledge that Baolingo is not responsible for any content created, uploaded, or shared by users. We provide the platform as-is and disclaim all warranties regarding user-generated content.

Speech Processing Features

  • Voice data is temporarily processed in memory and immediately discarded

Our platform uses YouTube API Services. By using Baolingo, you also agree to:

YouTube API Services are provided by YouTube LLC. Baolingo is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Refund Policy

We are committed to providing you with the best learning experience. Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase
  • Refunds apply to premium packages that are unused or used for less than 7 days
  • No refunds for packages where more than 50% of content or time has been used
  • Refund processing time is 5-10 business days
  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method
  • We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of terms of service violations

  • Account information and order number
  • Reason for refund request
  • Evidence of issues encountered (if applicable)

Note: This policy does not apply to free services or promotional offers.

Changes to Terms
